Photo Procedures

The better the quality of the photo provided to the artist, the better the portrait will be of you and your catch. Here are a few guidelines for shooting quality images:

  • Try to always photograph the fish alive and in the sunlight.

  • Hats and sunglasses will tend to shade and cover the features of the angler’s face. This can be okay and is up to you.

  • Take a lot of photos to choose from and use a digital camera, if possible.

Five Easy Steps to Your Angler Portrait*

1.  Contact the artist either by phone or e-mail.
2.  Send photograph(s).
3.  The photo(s) will be examined and discussed with client and the
     portrait composition will be finalized.
4.  Client approves concept and agreement is signed.
5.  Delivery to client upon final approval.

* In certain circumstances the artist may be available to accompany you on your fishing trip. Call to discuss.
